Moly greases, pastes, and oil dispersions were among the first products offered by McLube® at our founding in 1954. Our greases and pastes consist of a base compound (NLGI#2 grease or oil) fortified with varying concentrations of Molybdenum Disulfide (Moly) to suit application-specific requirements. The base compound acts as a primary lubricant and corrosion inhibitor while the Moly increases pressure and temperature tolerances by providing secondary lubrication after the base has dissipated or reached its dropping point.
